Details

Make the trail yours with Timberjack XT 27.5+. Supreme traction from the 27.5 x 2.8" tires will get you up and over anything you encounter out there—with a little help from the nimble geometry, dropper post, and 130mm suspension fork. Alternator dropouts add the versatility of multiple hub and drivetrain options—including single speed. Shimano’s venerable XT group brings refined shifting to the table, and the Shimano brakes bring you to a stop with consistent control. Timberjack is a 27.5+ hardtail that makes it easy to find more fun on more trails.

Plus-size rims and tires

Wider than standard yet narrower than fat, plus-size rims and tires hit the sweet spot in grip, stability, and speed, giving you more confidence on technical terrain. Compared to a standard tire you’ll feel grip in places you wouldn’t expect thanks to a bigger contact patch and greater rollover clearance. More air volume allows lower tire pressures which softens bumps and increases float on sand or snow. Whether you’re a novice or an expert, the benefits of plus-size tires and rims will amplify your mountain biking fun.

Dropper posts

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.

Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.

Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
